Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. The configuration measures 12 inches across the shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 92-1/2 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 139 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets.
