Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. That works out to about 98 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across oil cooling and snow melting, condensate cooling, and hydronic HVAC converters.
