Built around a removable U-tube bundle, 5-265-06-036-002 delivers liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling for demanding service. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 40-1/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 12.7 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in oil cooling and snow melting, condensate cooling, and pool and storage-tower heating.
