For general industrial liquid-to-liquid heat transfer, the OC straight tube line offers a removable straight-tube bundle design; this configuration sits within that range. An internally packed floating rear tubesheet absorbs differential expansion, and the bundle pulls for straight-through mechanical tube cleaning. Physically, the unit runs a 12-inch shell, 156-inch shell length, and roughly 165-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 416 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 125 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated 5-151-12-156-002.
