The OC straight tube platform pairs a removable straight-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to general industrial liquid-to-liquid heat transfer. An internally packed floating rear tubesheet absorbs differential expansion, and the bundle pulls for straight-through mechanical tube cleaning. Dimensionally it is a 12-inch shell unit, 132-inch shell length, and roughly 141-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 352 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 125 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated 5-151-12-132-002.
