An internally packed floating rear tubesheet absorbs differential expansion, and the bundle pulls for straight-through mechanical tube cleaning. Dimensionally it is a 10-inch shell unit, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 118 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 197 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 125 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are process heating and cooling, condenser and evaporator service, and oil and quench cooling.
