Physically, the unit runs a 8-inch shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 81-5/8 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 74.4 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 125 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes condenser and evaporator service, chemical and refinery duty, and oil and quench cooling.
