The OC straight tube platform pairs a removable straight-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to general industrial liquid-to-liquid heat transfer. An internally packed floating rear tubesheet absorbs differential expansion, and the bundle pulls for straight-through mechanical tube cleaning. Dimensionally it is a 8-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 45-5/8 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 37.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 125 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated 5-151-08-036-001.
