This configuration is a Diamondback DSU/DWU unit built on a double-wall U-tube bundle for liquid-to-liquid transfer with cross-contamination protection. Each tube is vented to atmosphere through a diamond-pattern air gap, so a failure in either wall reports itself outside the unit. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length in a 2-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper (double wall) tubes, and naval brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
