CHXS824-1S

The CHXS compact platform pairs a fixed-tubesheet bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and CHXS824-1S applies that design to compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Its envelope centers on a 8-inch diameter shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 31 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 41 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes hydraulic and lube oil cooling, chemical and food process cooling, and mechanical seal cooling.
