It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 53 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 45 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. This build is designated CHXS648-1S.
