Configured for compact liquid cooling in corrosive service, CHXS636-4S carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHXS compact range. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 41 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 34 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across mechanical seal cooling, chemical and food process cooling, and deionized and treated water cooling.
