It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Its envelope centers on a 6-inch diameter shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 40-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 34 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as CHXS636-2L. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature.
