CHXS524-2S

A fixed-tubesheet bundle gives CHXS524-2S the thermal and mechanical margin expected of CHXS compact equipment in compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Dimensionally it is a 5-inch shell unit, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 28-5/16 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across hydraulic and lube oil cooling, deionized and treated water cooling, and mechanical seal cooling.
