CHXS524-1S

The CHXS compact platform pairs a fixed-tubesheet bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Physically, the unit runs a 5-inch shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 28-1/2 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. This build is designated CHXS524-1S.
