CHXS336-1S

The CHXS compact platform pairs a fixed-tubesheet bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and CHXS336-1S applies that design to compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Physically, the unit runs a 3-inch shell, 36-inch shell length in a 1-pass arrangement. It carries 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in mechanical seal cooling, chemical and food process cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
