It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Physically, the unit runs a 2-inch shell, 14-inch shell length in a 1-pass arrangement. It carries 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes chemical and food process cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling.
