CHX824-1S

CHX824-1S is a CHX compact unit built on a fixed-tubesheet bundle for compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Its envelope centers on a 8-inch diameter shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 31 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 41 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are injection molding machine cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and engine jacket water cooling.
