CHX660-2S

CHX660-2S is a CHX compact unit built on a fixed-tubesheet bundle for compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Dimensionally it is a 6-inch shell unit, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 65-3/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 56 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are mechanical seal cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and engine jacket water cooling.
