CHX524-4S

CHX524-4S is a CHX compact unit built on a fixed-tubesheet bundle for compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Physically, the unit runs a 5-inch shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 28-3/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across injection molding machine cooling, mechanical seal cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
