Configured for compact liquid cooling, CHX414-1S carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHX compact range. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. The configuration measures 4 inches across the shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 18 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 8.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in mechanical seal cooling, injection molding machine cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
