Built around a fixed-tubesheet bundle, this configuration delivers compact liquid cooling for demanding service. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Physically, the unit runs a 3-inch shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 17-1/4 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 4.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in engine jacket water cooling, mechanical seal cooling, and injection molding machine cooling. This build is designated CHX314-4L.
