Built around a fixed-tubesheet bundle, this configuration delivers compact liquid cooling for demanding service. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Dimensionally it is a 3-inch shell unit, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 17-1/4 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 4.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are engine jacket water cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling. This build is designated CHX314-1L.
