ACF-1084

For compressed air aftercooling, the ACFR aftercooler line offers a fixed-tubesheet bundle design; ACF-1084 sits within that range. Compressed air passes through the tubes against cooling water in the baffled shell, and the tube interiors clean easily from either end. Shell dimensions vary by size within this configuration in a 1-pass arrangement. It carries 1/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across instrument and shop air conditioning, moisture and oil removal from plant air, and compressor discharge aftercooling. Steel tubesheets and baffles with 1/4-inch copper tubes keep the assembly compact, and the fixed-tubesheet design holds overall length within 50 inches.
